GLOBAL TOP 100 BRAND CORPORATIONS 2021

New European Brand Institute Report “EBI GLOBAL TOP 100 Brand Corporations 2021” finds US-Tech Brand Corporations are most valuable, online retailers on the rise:

  •  APPLE remains the most valuable brand corporation worldwide at EUR 273.72 bn (+13%), with online-retailer Amazon.com EUR 194.65 (+39%) in second and Alphabet Inc. (Google) EUR 190.46 bn (+8%) third
  •  China's ALIBABA Group climbs up to 5th rank with EUR 97.62 bn (+21%)
  • Europe’s most valuable brand corporation LVMH Group ranks 6th worldwide
  •  Growth leader remains US automotive brand corporation Tesla showing the highest growth with more than 43%.
  • French LVMH Group remains Europe’s most valuable brand corporation, representing brand values of EUR 87.55 bn (-3%/global rank 6), followed by Swiss No.1 Nestlé EUR 44,15 bn (-7%/global rank 19) and Belgian Anheuser Busch InBev EUR 29,86 bn (-19%/global rank 31).

TOP GROWING SEGMENTS: Retail (+20%) and IT & Technology (+11%) whilst Industry (-23%) and Telco & Financial Services (-9%) are shrinking. US brand corporations are dominating with 46 (-1) amongst GLOBAL TOP 100 representing a value share of 61%, Europe represents 33 (+1) (value share 20,4%) with French Luxury leading, whilst Asia catches up with 20 (0) (value share 18,2%)."

 

 

The GLOBAL TOP 100 BRAND CORPORATIONS RANKING of the European Brand Institute has analysed more than 3,000 brand corporations and their brands in 16 industries, based on the latest ISO standards.

 

Data based on fiscal year 2020 or 2020/2021, financial data source by REFINITIV an LSEG company.

EBI-Markenwert Studie: Marke sticht Krise

Zum 18. Mal hat das European Brand Institute (EBI) seine Österreichische Markenwert Studie durchgeführt und die wertvollsten Markenunternehmen ermittelt.  Die Ergebnisse wurden am 30. Juni 2021 vor Medienvertretern und Markenverantwortlichen präsentiert.

Sustainable Brand Rating: ÖBB führend

 

Das European Brand Institute hat wiederholt den Beitrag der Marken zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung in Österreich in 5 Sektoren: Verkehr, Versorgungsinfrastruktur, Energie, Gesundheits- und Sozialinfrastruktur, Finanzen sowie Handel und Medien in 4 Kategorien: Brand Leadership, Product/Services, Social Responsibility und Investment in Österreich untersucht. Der Kriterienkatalog mit 52 Indikatoren, abgeleitet aus den UN-Nachhaltigkeitszielen (SDGs) der Agenda 2030 sowie ISO 20671, wurde mit dem „EBI Scoring Model“ bewertet und in ein „Sustainable Brand Rating“ übergeführt. In Kooperation mit der FH St. Pölten, Lehrgang Werbung und Markenführung, wurden erstmals auch Österreichs wertvollste Markenunternehmen auf Nachhaltigkeit bzw. extern wahrgenommenes nachhaltiges Handeln untersucht.

"2020 war geprägt durch die weltweite Pandemie, ein schwieriges aber auch positives Jahr. Die Markenwertentwicklung der TOP10 wertvollsten Markenunternehmen Österreichs mit -1,4% Verlust im Vergleich zu -6,6% BIP Rückgang stellt eine durchaus starke Position der Markenunternehmen dar. Nachhaltige Marken sind als Profiteure gestärkt aus der Krise hervorgegangen. Antizyklische Investments in Marken unterstützen die „Post Covid-19 Recovery“."

The global brand value ranking GLOBAL TOP 100 BRAND CORPORATIONS RANKING by the European Brand Institute - European independent experts for brand, patent & IP valuation & strategy, examining more than 3.000 brand corporations and their brands in 16 industries, with comparisons of Europe, America and Asia.

 

The Austrian brand value study determins domestic brand companies  from "trend TOP 500", which exhibit more than 45% Austrian property. These selected brand companies will be valued according to latest standards analyzing following categories: Industry, brand strength, trend developmkent, brand potential and sales. The analysis of ÖMWS is executed by over 180 Austrian brand companies in 16 different industry segments, then the TOP 10 Austrian brands will be published.

Das European Brand Institute - Europas unabhängige Marken- und Patent Bbewertungsexperten hat mit seinem GLOBAL TOP 100 BRAND CORPORATIONS RANKING mehr als 3.000 Markenunternehmen und deren Marken in 16 Branchen, mit Vergleichsdaten von Europa, Amerika und Asien basierend auf aktuellsten ISO Standards analysiert. 

 

Die Österreichische Markenwert Studie (ÖMWS) ermittelt aus dem "trend TOP500" jene heimischen Unternehmensmarken, die sich zu mehr als 45% in österreichischem Eigentum befinden. Die ausgewählten Markenunternehmen werden anhand der Kriterien Branche, Markenstärke, Trendentwicklung, Markenpotenzial und Umsatz nach den letztgültigen Standards bewertet. Veröffentlicht werden die TOP 10 Österreichischen Marken; die Analysen werden anhand von über 180 Österreichischen Markenunternehmen in 16 Branchensegmenten im Rahmen der Studie durchgeführt.
