Zum 16. Mal hat das European Brand Institute (EBI) seine Österreichische Markenwert Studie durchgeführt und die wertvollsten Markenunternehmen basierend auf dem „trend-TOP500 Ranking der umsatzstärksten Unternehmen Österreichs“ vom Juni 2019 ermittelt.  Diese wurden am 3. Juli 2019 im News Media Tower vor Journalisten und Markenverantwortlichen präsentiert.

EUROPEAN BRAND INSTITUTE: World’s most valuable brand corporations 2019

 

 

US-tech brand corporations most valuable: 1. Apple, 2. Google, 3. Amazon, Europe’s most valuable brand corporation LVMH Group ranks No.6 worldwide, China’s Alibaba enters TOP 10 for the first time

 

The GLOBAL TOP 100 BRAND CORPORATIONS RANKING by European Brand Institute Europe’s independent brand & patent valuation and strategy experts, examined more than 3.000 brand corporations and their brands in 16 industries, according to the latest ISO valuation standards ISO 20671 with comparisons of Europe, America and Asia.

 

Global

According to European Brand Institute GLOBAL TOP 100 Brand Corporations Ranking, Apple remains the world’s most valuable brand corporation at EUR 163.24 bn (+6,5%), followed by Google EUR 138.78 bn (+16,4%) and Amazon EUR 111.42 bn (+36,6%). Online-Retailer on the rise: Amazon in third place, displaced Microsoft and Alibaba (+19,4 %/EUR 53,73 bn) enters TOP 10 for the first time.

  

 

Europe

French LVMH Group remains Europe’s most valuable brand corporation, representing brand values of EUR 75.96 bn (+7,3%/global rank 6), followed by Swiss No.1 Nestlé EUR 39.05 bn (+2,2%/global rank 19) and Belgian AB InBev EUR 38.15 bn (-8,9%/global rank 20). Germany’s leading brand corporation Deutsche Telekom worth EUR 25.48 bn (+0,5%/global rank 38) overtakes Volkswagen Group at EUR 24.57 bn (-3,2%/global rank 44). Austria’s Red Bull (EUR 13,19 bn /+0,9%) holds global rank 95

 

 

Growth

GLOBAL TOP 100 show a brand value increase of +5,7%. Retail (+18,3%), IT & Technology (+10,9%) and Luxury (+21,5%) segments show above-average growth. German automotive and industrial segments are shrinking, while China is seeing brand value growth across all segments. 86,5% of GLOBAL TOP 100 total brand value derives from brand corporations of 5 countries: USA, Germany, U.K., France and China. 

 

 

 

Continents

US brand corporations are dominating with 47 (0) amongst TOP 100 representing a value share of 58.50%, Europe represents 33 (-1) (value share 24,1%) with French leading, whilst Asia catches up with 19 (+1) (value share 16,9%)

TOP 3 segments in terms of brand value growth within the global brand landscape: 1. Luxury (+21,5%), 2. Retail (+18,3) and 3. IT & Technology (+10,9%)

Das GLOBAL TOP 100 BRAND CORPORATIONS RANKING des European Brand Institutes – Europas unabhängigen Experten für  Marken- und Patentbewertung hat mehr als 3.000 Markenunternehmen und deren Marken in 16 Branchen im Vergleich Europa, Amerika und Asien, basierend auf aktuellsten ISO 20671 Standards analysiert.

 

Global      

Laut European Brand Institute GLOBAL TOP 100 Brand Corporations Ranking, bleibt Apple das wertvollste Markenunternehmen der Welt mit einem Markenwert von EUR 163,24 Mrd. (+6,5%), gefolgt von Google EUR 138,78 Mrd. (+16,4%) und Amazon EUR 111,42 Mrd. (+36,6%). Online-Retailer im Vormarsch: Amazon verdrängt Microsoft und rückt auf Platz 3 vor, Alibaba erreicht erstmals TOP 10 Platzierung (EUR 53,73 Mrd./ +19,4%).

Gerhard Hrebicek, Präsident European Brand Institute: “Die GLOBAL TOP 100 verzeichnen ein Markenwertwachstum von +5,7% gegenüber dem Vorjahr, wobei 86,5% der Markenwerte von Markenunternehmen in den 5 Ländern USA, Deutschland, U.K., Frankreich und China generiert werden. Retail (+18,3%), IT & Technology (+10,9%) und Luxury (+21,5) weisen ein überdurchschnittliches Wachstum auf. Deutschlands Automotive- und Industriebranche schrumpfen, während chinesische Markenunternehmen ein Markenwertwachstum über alle Branchen verzeichnen.

US-Markenunternehmen dominieren mit 47 (0) innerhalb der TOP 100 und einem Markenwertanteil von 58.50%. Perfect Eagle und European Brand Institute präsentieren heuer die Ergebnisse der ersten umfassenden Markenstudie im Golfbereich, der European Golf Brand Study!

 

Im Rahmen einer anonymisierten online Umfrage wurden 75 Golfbrands in 5 verschiedenen Kategorien unterteilt und nach den 8 Elementen der Marken Evaluierung nach ISO 20671 bewertet. Die Ergebnisse der European Golf Brand Study listen die TOP 10 Brands in folgenden Kategorien auf: Bekleidung, Golfbälle, Golfschläger, Schuhe und Trolleys.

Der von EBI erstellte Fragenkatalog basiert auf dem neuesten Standard ISO 20671 für Marken Evaluierung. Im Zeitraum von 15. Juli bis 15. August 2018 nahmen 250 GolferInnen in der gesamten D-A-CH Region an der Umfrage teil.

 

In den Ergebnissen befinden sich (Golf-) Markengrößen unter den Spitzenreitern, die ihre Marke erfolgreich mit Qualität und Innovation kennzeichnen. Unter anderen setzen sich skandinavische Labels, wie J.Lindeberg und Galvin Green, durch und machen Marken wie Titleist, Callaway, und Adidas K.

Perfect Eagle and European Brand Institute present the results of the first  brand study in the golf sector, the European Golf Brand Study!

 

In an anonymous online survey, 75 golf brands were divided and rated according to the 8 elements of brand evaluation ISO 20671 in 5 different categories. The results of the European Golf Brand Study list the TOP 10 brands in the following categories: clothing, golf balls, golf clubs, shoes and trolleys.

The questionnaire prepared by EBI is based on the latest standard ISO 20671 for brand evaluation. Between July 15 and August 15, 2018, 250 golfers from all over the D-A-CH region took part in the survey.

 

In the results, (golf-) megabrands such as Titleist, Callaway, and Adidas are among the front runners which have successfully distinguished their brand with quality and innovation. But also Scandinavian labels such as J.Lindeberg and Galvin Green were able to prevail and compete for the Top 3.

Das European Brand Institute und Perfect Eagle präsentieren in Teil 2 der European Golf Brand Study erstmals die wertvollsten Golfdestinationsmarken!

 

Im Rahmen einer anonymisierten online Umfrage wurden 59 Golfdestinations nach den 8 Elementen der Marken-Evaluierung nach ISO 20671 bewertet. Im Zeitraum von 15. Juli bis 15. August 2018 nahmen 200 GolferInnen in der gesamten D-A-CH Region an der Umfrage teil.

Die Ergebnisse werden im Brand Strength Score und dem Brand Value Rating veranschaulicht.

The European Brand Institute and Perfect Eagle present the most valuable golf destination brands for the first time in Part 2 of the European Golf Brand Study!
